Oregon-Part 2: The Oregon Coast

We spent four days at the Oregon Coast.  The first day it was beautiful!  We were able to play at the beach.  I don't remember the last time it was warm enough to stay on the beach for any length of time.  Last summer we were in our winter hats on the beach.  On Friday evening Sean and I went to dinner to celebrate our 3rd anniversary.  Thanks to Rachelle, Richard, and Mom for babysitting.

Diana tests out he new shovel and pail.  She enjoyed digging with her shovel and her hands.

Checking out the sand on her hands.
Diana had a good time eating the sand.

She was a mess!

Diana imitating Edgar (and all other dogs she sees or hears).  Not only does she stick her tongue out, she makes a panting noise just like a dog.  Nana taught her that.

Eating corn on the cob for the first time.
Diana tried a lot of new foods on our trip:  Goat cheese, kalamata olives, deviled eggs, and egg salad sandwiches.  She enjoyed them all.  She kept asking for more goat cheese and deviled eggs.

We met Rachelle's college friend Dorothy and her family at Hug Point.  It was suppose to be low tide but it didn't look like it.

Dotty and her daughter Cambria

Diana spent some time investigating  the rocks.

Checking out the tide pools
Diana explored by putting her foot in.

The Three Sisters

We had a wonderful time in Oregon, despite both Sean and I being sick.  It was great seeing our family.
