The Mariners Game

On Sunday we went to the Mariners game with Diana. We haven't taken her since she was an infant. She has become a Mariners fan thanks to Sean. She has her favorite players: Felix ("My Mariner" according to Diana), Ichiro, and Jason Vargas. We lucked out that it was Felix day. We went early to watch batting practice. It turns out the Mariners don't take batting practice on Sunday. Before the game we bought Diana a ball, which she would not let go of. She wanted Felix to sign it, but that was a long shot. We did get one of the Cleveland players to sign her ticket (Justin Brown). Some of the Mariners did come out to do some warm ups. Diana was able to get both Doug Fister and Jason Vargas to sign her ball. We watched a bit of the game before it was time to run around. Diana was a trooper and stayed way past nap time. We ended up leaving during the 5th inning when the melt down began.
