Diana loves puzzles! When she gets to daycare the first thing she wants to do is sit at the table with a puzzle. She has been doing the more complicated puzzles that are usually for older children. Because of this, we ordered a set of number, letter, and color puzzles. They were waiting for us when we came home Friday. Diana has spent a good part of her weekend doing the puzzles. When she got up yesterday she didn't want breakfast she wanted to do the puzzles. She'll say, "number, letter, or fish" to indicate which puzzle she wants. We also got a set of magnetic letters for the fridge.
Diana doing the alphabet puzzle with dad. Diana is beginning to recognize some letters. For a while now she has been saying,"double" for w. She finds w wherever she can. She often points to the letters on dad's shirts trying to find letters she recognizes. Diana recognizes: W, D, S, A, I, M, and N.

Diana is working on her number puzzle. She is able to identify the number 4.
Diana has been sorting her blocks by color. She made towers of green, orange, pink, and purple.

Diana is learning to put away her toys.
She says, "away" or "back" when she's done.

Diana is balancing the blocks on top of each other.
While leaving daycare the other day Diana was buckling herself into her stroller. When she finished she said,"I did it".
