We ventured outside with Diana for the first time today. She had her first doctor's appointment, and it went very well. We're happy to say that she is a healthy young lady.

She weighed 6lbs, 4 oz, which will probably be the low weight of her life. Diana was on her best behavior at the doctor's office, and she hardly even cried. Needless to say we were very proud.

After the doctor's office, we went to Northgate Mall to run some errands. We weren't really sure how well she'd do, but we gave it a shot. We kept Diana in the car seat, and it worked out wonderfully. She was really happy the whole time, and hopefully this bodes well for future excursions.

We wanted to take a minute and thank everyone who's looked at the blog so far. Who knows how frequently we'll be able to update it, but for now it's a good way to get information out to many people.

It's so wonderful that you are doing this! I was just trying to find your phone number so tht I could call and bother you for some information/pictures. She is BEAUTIFUL. Congratulations!! I hope to meet her soon and that Grady is taking well to the new competition for attention. Who wakes you up more at night, Grady or Diana?
