Oregon Adventures: Part 1

After a long trip to Oregon we are home. It was a busy week full of family, fun, and friends. We took the train down with aunt Rachelle. We had the opportunity to see Dottie speak at OMSI about her space shuttle mission. We went to the zoo, got haircuts, and did a lot of playing.

Diana and Cambria (Dottie's daughter) watch Nemo. This was Diana's first movie. She only watched part of it. Later we found out she did not watch the beginning of the movie with the sharks. At home we watched the beginning and clearly she was not ready to see the sharks. Before bed she kept saying she was bleeding even though she was not. Dad explained that it was not real and just pretend. No more mention of bleeding.

After our busy morning of brunch, riding the streetcar, and playing in the fountain Diana took a nap at aunt Leah's house

Cousin Parker

Dian's new cousin Parker Sophia Masters was born June 14th. Diana and I went to visit her in the hospital while dad was in Kansa City for the High School Debate Nationals. Diana was a bit wound up in the hospital room.

After the museum we went upstairs to listen to some music. Folk Life was going on but it was very rainy so we didn't stay long.
