Ella and Diana

Diana and Ella went to the Aquarium and had a great time! They are pretty adorable together.

Gymnastics

Diana started taking a parent/tot gymnastics class a few weeks ago. Her favorite thing is the trampoline. Last week she jumped around in circles signing All The Single Ladies on the trampoline. Her good friend Ella taught her the song.

The pit is not a favorite of Diana's

Bouncing on the balls is fun

Here are a few good quotes.

"I'm not a good kid. I'm a girl."
"I don't like salad; I like cream cheese."
"Daddy! How are you today daddy?"
"She's not a bee, she's a person" (referring to our neighbor Bea)
"How are you today Grady? How are you today Grady?"
"Ella's not my friend, she's my sister." (referring to her good friend Ella)

Discovery Shuttle Launch

On Monday morning Dorothy Metcalf-Lindenburger (a close friend of Rachelle's from Whitman) was one of the seven astronauts to fly on the most recent space shuttle trip to the space station.

Spring Break

Spring break was difficult! It began Friday morning with Diana and I waking up sick. Diana and I both had colds that proceeded to get worse. Diana had to miss her first day of gymnastics since she had a fever. Monday and Tuesday we spent a lot of time watching Sesame Street. Diana also used her pacifier all the time. Not a good idea since we have to deal with her wanting it all the time now. On Wednesday we took the train to Portland while Dad stayed home to teach. Diana had a great time! While in Portland Diana was not her happy self. She had good and bad moments. We spent time with lots of family. Dad arrived Saturday morning to my delight. Because Diana was sick she didn't want anyone but me. I was exhausted. On our trip home Tuesday Diana seemed to be feeling better. Finally!

Diana and I had fun on the train. We went up and down the aisles, played games, looked out the window, ate, colored, and talked

Doing her dinosaur puzzles on the train

She mastered a large Eric Carle floor puzzle by the end of our trip
