Diana Sliding, Baking, and Playing

Here are some pictures of Diana from the last week. Diana has been home with me since I've been on break and she's been sick. We finally were able to make our Valentine's cookies on Thursday when her cold was getting better. We are happy to have Dad back from his trip to Berkeley for the high school tournament. We've been taking advantage of the nice weather. Diana loves the park! Diana has started singing songs. The other day she sang Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, ABC's, and Ba Ba Black sheep. Someday we hope to get it on video.

On Thursday after we realized the zoo closes early (yes, it's still winter) we went to West Seattle.

Diana was sad when it was all done.

Diana loved watching and helping add the ingredients.

Diana is now confident on the slide.
She climbs up herself and slides down often saying, "Again! Again!" when she is done.

More Pictures

Diana is sick again. Sean picked her up early on Thursday and I stayed home with her Friday. She was a mess! She looks a bit better today. Her nose is not constantly running and she doesn't need her pacifiers all day long. She had a fever yesterday and it seems to be gone today.

Diana sorting
Diana likes to sort things by color. When she builds with her legos she builds towers of only one color. She takes apart the towers we build with multiple colors.

Diana pretends she hurt her ankle like mommy. She puts ice on it.
Yes, I sprained my ankle a week or so ago. It still hurts, but is feeling better.

Diana and Ella at the Zoo

Last Saturday we had a beautiful and warmer then normal day. We went to the zoo with Jessica and Ella. Diana and Ella had a great time running and playing together. They enjoyed playing on a rock, jumping on a man hole, and watching some animals.

Diana tries to get a closer look at the animals in the Family Farm.

The Day and Night exhibit will be closing soon.
We looked at the snakes, lizards, and turtles. Diana and Ella loved the turtles.

This is Sean's favorite exhibit.
