Diana's Birthday!

Diana Turned 2 on Monday!
She weighs 29 pounds 2 ounces and is almost 3 feet tall.
Anyone who talks to her knows that she is talking a lot. She is beginning to speak in complete sentences of 3 or 4 words. She has a great memory. Her favorite toys are her new Duplo Legos and her new train set. She still loves stickers. Diana is beginning to get potty trained. She does wonderful at school, but is not as interested at home. She continues to be sweet and happy.

On Sunday we had Diana and Dad's birthday party.
Thanks to everyone who came.

PEPS Birthday Party!

Our PEPS group had a birthday party for all the kids. We went to Seattle Gymnastics Academy for some playtime and food. Diana had a great time! She especially loved the long trampoline.

Portland December 2009

On Saturday morning we drove down to Portland to spend time with family and friends. We had a busy and fun week.

Diana playing on the chair

On Sunday we had a big dinner with 15 people.
Heidi and Annabelle got Diana a new baby doll. Diana named her Flower

Diana got a lot of new things for her play kitchen.
Thanks Papa Steven!

On Monday we went to the Portland Children's Museum
Diana had a wonderful time!
It is bigger and in my opinion better than the Seattle Children's Museum. There seemed to be more things for Diana to do. We didn't have time to do everything since Diana found a few places she didn't want to leave.

The water area had 4 different areas to play. The water was cold, but Diana would have been happy if we only played in that area

Diana could move around the tube and make the water go different ways.

There was a course to send boats and animals through

Diana also loved the train area.
She was the only girl playing there.

We went to Barbara's for a yummy breakfast.

Uncle Aaron joined us and began warming up to Diana.

"Lay down" says Diana as she plays on the stairs.

On Tuesday Afternoon we (Diana, Courtney, Sean) woke up from a nap surprised to see it snowing outside. Luckily we were home. Nana and Rachelle made it home shortly after the snow began. Adrienne and many others spent a long time trying to get home.

It was quite windy and Diana did not like the snow blowing in her face.

Mom and Diana checking out the snow

After Diana went to bed the snow slowed down.

We made a snowman but overnight the head fell off
In the morning Diana was more comfortable in the snow. She spent most of her time eating the snow and watching as her feet made prints in the snow. By the time we left the house at 10:00 the snow had melted on the main roads.
