News and Updates

It has been a long time since we last updated the blog.  We have been very busy.  I had two weeks of conferences that are finally over.  Sean had a Daddy/Diana weekend while the Harris girls celebrated Grandma Sue's 60th birthday.  We celebrated mother's day with a visit from Nana Lynda and a trip to the park.  We missed out on celebrating with Grandma Sue due to a broken pipe in our car.  And Diana had her 15 month checkup.  She gained a pound and grew an inch.  She is 75% for height and weight.
Diana is still not interested in walking.  She is able to stand for a few seconds until she realizes she's standing and sits down.  She says a few words now:  ball, dad, mom, dog, shoe, and she tries to repeat what we say.  Ball comes out the clearest and is said more often.  She has become very interested in airplanes.  She hears them wherever we are and points up to the sky and tries to make an airplane sound.  She is known to wave at the planes and blow them kisses.

Diana continues to be a happy little girl.

Last weekend we visited the zoo.  This time she showed more interest in the animals.  She was still interested in the trees and plants and wanted to touch the leaves.

Diana had fun  in the sand.  She put some in the bucket and she ate some.
