Grandpa Steven Visits

This weekend Grandpa Steven came up for a visit while Sean was on Search.

Daddy's Home!
Dad came home early and was able to greet Diana when she got up from her nap.

Diana shares her breakfast with Grandpa.

Diana loves her cell phone.
We had a few old phones and gave her one to play with.

Our Weekend

This past weekend Nana came up for a visit.  We didn't do too much since Diana had another cold.  She had a bit of a fever, runny nose, and was coughing.  She is finishing up her cold and getting back to her happy self.  On Sunday we went to dinner to celebrate Colleen and Becky's 30th Birthday.

Diana trying tomatoes for the first time.  She seemed to enjoy them.  I guess we'll have to keep tomatoes in the house now.

Eating chicken
Diana has tried chicken and turkey a few times and until now did not care for them.

Nana and Diana

Diana discovered how to turn the T.V. on and off.  This was a fun game for her.

Diana enjoys playing in the clean laundry.

Crawling and Coloring

Diana has been on the move.  She is crawling a lot more.  When we are around she still wants our help getting things out of her reach.  She has also been doing a lot of walking while holding onto her wagon, furnature, and us.  She will walk from one thing to the other to get accross the room.  She is usually happy when she is walking.

Today Diana explored crayons for the first time.  She spent a lot of the time putting them in her mouth.  In between the tasting she made a few marks on the paper.  She even drew and tasted at the same time.

News and Updates

Over the last few weeks Diana has been transition from her bottle to a cup.  This weekend she didn't use a bottle.  She is not drinking as much milk with her cups.  A week or so ago she began crawling.  We have only seen her do it a few times and she only moves a bit.  She seems to find every other way of getting what she wants.  She scoots on her bottom, she scoots backwards, she gets up on her knees and goes to her belly, she reaches as far as she can.

Diana tried turkey for the first time.  She put it in her mouth and took it out.  She was not into it.  She also tried chicken and didn't care for it.  Maybe she'll be a vegetarian.

Diana continues the adventure of feeding herself with a spoon.  She manages to get food everywhere.

Diana loves to stack her legos.

Last weekend we went on a drive and stopped to admire the view.

Adventures in Toilet Paper

Diana has been sick this weekend.  She has had a little fever and a very runny and stuffy nose.  This has caused us to have a roll of toilet paper handy for the multitude of nose wiping.
