Updates

It has been an eventful last week.
On Sunday, we celebrated Grandpa Joe's birthday (a little early).
On Monday Diana rolled over for the first time.  Yeah Diana!
On Wednesday, we went to our last baby sign class.  We also found out that Diana weighs about 22 pounds.
On Thursday, Diana turned 8 months old.
On Friday, We noticed Diana's first two teeth beginning to come in.  And we drove to Walla Walla for Sean's 10 year reunion.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Joe!

Diana has been showing interest in Grady and Grady has been showing interest in Diana.  We have to watch them carefully.  Grady has been know to scratch or bite, though it has been a long time.

Diana gently touches Grady.

I Love to Eat!

Diana has been enjoying many new foods. She loves to eat! She has been working on drinking out of her cup. She has also been working on holding her bottle.

Foods Diana loves: Bananas, pears, peaches
Foods Diana likes: Applesause, carrots, sweet potatoes, yogurt, oatmeal cereal
Foods Diana eats when mixed with yummy foods: Tofu, green beans, winter squash
Yucky foods: Avacado, potatoes, rice cereal

Diana has fun practicing with the spoon.

I can hold my cup!
Diana loves to drink out of her cup.
She often ends up soaked in water when she is done.

Diana is doing a great job holding her bottle.
The small bottle is much easier for her to hold.

Playing Ball with Uncle CJ

Diana went to visit Grandma and Grandpa for Labor Day dinner.  She went up to the third floor to hang out with Uncle CJ.  Diana and Chloe are the second generation of Harris family members to playing sports on the third floor.   Somehow I don't think that's what Grandma and Grandpa had in mind when they agreed to the architect's plans.  Where else where we going to play basketball/volleyball/football/golf/darts/pool/ping-pong/flip cup?  Come to think of it, we probably should have been paid for testing how hard a ball can hit track lighting without it breaking.  Or with it breaking.  Aaah, the memories...

Great onesie!

Hope Solo, look out!

OK, we're still working on the rules for soccer.  She's got at least a year before I really push her and become one of those obnoxious dads that everyone hates, so there's time.

Smiling at Uncle CJ.  Maybe we'll get this same picture with every sibling!

Diana is still unsure about texting.
